photoblog image Silver Lady

Silver Lady

Another one from my Strolls around the London Eye.

There's always one thing or another happening around the london eye, and this lady and her male companion were performing at Waterloo.

I keep feeling one day, one of them is going to pick me from the crowd and ask me to pay for all the pictures I take, perhaps I should drop a pound or two.

Yes, Sesan, you must drop a pound or two for the privilege of taking their pics! But then, perhaps you could give them a copy of your image instead?!

This is a delightful, almost-vintage capture of this mime. I'm always amazed by what effort people will go to in performing like this for us...for a few pounds here and there!
Sesan Olusoga: I do drop the odd pound or two, but the thing is, I go there quite a bit, especially as it's summer, and the weather is good. Thanks Ginnie.
noice!
Sesan Olusoga: Thanks buddy

A sheer delight of a portrait, Sesan. Maybe a tad of metallic, probably you got carried away during PP. Otherwise, very enjoyable.

Sesan Olusoga: I actually didn't do anything to this image, apart from change it to black and white, and a closer crop. What you see is exactly how the lady painted herself, well..., if I can call it that. Thanks VZ.

Hi Sesan, I am with Ginnie. I like to offer my unwitting subjects a copy of their image. It is suprising how chuffed they are when you hand over one for nothing. We use models at our Camera Club and get lots of volunteers as they know they end up with a plethora of free quality images. Otherwise I would drop in a few bucks.

Aside from that - great shot!
Sesan Olusoga: Thanks Brian.
